The fall 2025 issue of Magnolia includes a preview by Judy Perry of the Society’s 2026 annual meeting in Colonial Williamsburg, to be held April 10-12. Elizabeth Bush has written “Rooted in History!” which details plans for a new Martha Daniell Logan Memorial Garden in Charleston, South Carolina. Bush is president of the Daniel Island Historical Society, which honors Logan’s legacy as an eighteenth-century horticulturist and garden writer. Ken McFarland has produced an expanded “SGHS Gardens” article on the garden site of Crowfield Plantation in Goose Creek, SC. This eighteenth-century site, which is now a ruin, was ranked among the finest in colonial South Carolina. The issue also includes the latest on the Randy Harelson scholarship fund and a thank you to our annual meeting sponsors: Bartlett Tree Experts and Nelson, Byrd, Woltz Architects.
