Dear Friends,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that our president, Randy Harelson, died on Tuesday, March 5.
Randy’s affections for our Society, its members and mission were evident in his enthusiastic leadership. He loved gardens, plants, history and people profoundly, and he embraced each person he met as a forever friend. He was one of the most loving and caring people I have ever known.
Please hold him dear in your hearts, just as you do his husband Richard Gibbs, who has been Randy’s loving bulwark over these trying months.
